This Privacy Policy explains how Codematrix Ltd (“SnapFit”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses and shares information when you use the SnapFit AI app, website and services (the “Service”). We are committed to protecting your data and only using it to give you a better, more personalized experience.

1. Information we collect

Information you provide

  • Account data: name, email, and authentication identifiers (Google/Apple sign-in).
  • Onboarding & profile: goals, fitness level, dietary preferences, height, weight, age and gender.
  • Body-scan photos: images you capture for AI body analysis, and the derived results (e.g. body-type, body-fat estimate, posture score).
  • Activity data: logged workouts, meals, water and weight entries, and chat messages with the AI coach.

Information from your device & wearables

  • Health & fitness metrics: with your permission, we read heart-rate, steps, calories and sleep from Apple Health or Health Connect to power live metrics and coaching. We only access what you approve.
  • Push tokens: a device token (via Firebase Cloud Messaging) so we can send reminders and coach nudges.
  • Technical data: app version, device type and diagnostic/crash logs.

2. How we use your information

  • Generate and adapt your workout and meal plans;
  • Run AI body-scan analysis and personalize coaching;
  • Track progress and send reminders, nudges and weekly check-ins;
  • Process subscriptions and prevent fraud;
  • Maintain, secure and improve the Service.

3. AI processing & sub-processors

To provide AI features we share the minimum necessary data with trusted service providers who process it on our behalf:

  • AI models (e.g. DeepSeek and Google Gemini) — to generate plans, analyze body-scan photos and power coach replies.
  • Cloud storage (Cloudflare R2) — to store body-scan images and generated media.
  • RevenueCat — to manage subscriptions and entitlements.
  • Pusher — to deliver real-time coach messages.
  • Firebase Cloud Messaging — to deliver push notifications.
  • Google Places — to find nearby gyms when you use the gym finder.

These providers are contractually bound to protect your data and use it only to provide their service to us.

4. Health data

Health and fitness information is sensitive. We use it solely to operate features you engage with, never for advertising, and we never sell it. Data read from Apple Health / Health Connect is handled in accordance with the applicable platform requirements and is not used for any purpose other than delivering the Service to you.

5. Legal bases (EEA/UK)

Where GDPR applies, we process your data on the bases of: performance of our contract with you (providing the Service), your consent (e.g. health data and notifications), our legitimate interests (security and improvement), and legal obligations.

6. Data sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the sub-processors above, with authorities where legally required, or in connection with a merger or acquisition (subject to this Policy).

7. Data retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. You can delete your account at any time, after which we delete or anonymize your personal data except where retention is required by law.

8. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, export, or restrict processing of your data, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, email hello@snapfit.ai.

9. Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls and reputable infrastructure providers to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, but we work hard to safeguard your information.

10. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

11. International transfers

Your data may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

12. Changes

We may update this Policy; material changes will be notified in the app or by email.
